HomecomingWell in the tradition of homecoming I guess someone has to oppose it. I guess it’s my turn to be a party pooper. It just doesn’t make any sense to me. Yes I admit I did enjoy it last year but I was also so caught up in being in the "in" crowd that I didn’t care how stupid we looked with our clothes on backwards or our faces painted. It was the popular thing to do so I did it. But now I have UNbrainwashed myself. Gosh it sure feels great to be human again and not one of those mindless unthinking robots we call the "in" crowd.Homecoming

The other day my mother looked at me and sighed, “No one is ever going to be good enough for you, are they?” I protested and tried to defend myself but to no avail. My mother turned back to the meal she was cooking only to conclude, “I let you watch too many Disney movies when you were little.” I pouted because let’s face it, she was right.
